Set sail on the Viking Sun for a 2017 World Cruise. This 119-night voyage will take you around the globe from Los Angeles to London. Spanning five continents with dozens of charming ports, beautiful islands, and legendary cities, this sailing has something for everyone. From Tahiti to Australia and Asia to Europe, you will enjoy 10 overnight stays with many full days at port along the way.

After leaving Los Angeles, sail across the Pacific Ocean to make your way into French Polynesia. Call first at the Marquesas Islands, then overnight in Tahiti. From there, call at the beautiful Bora Bora before continuing on to make port in Rarotonga of the Cook Islands. Here you will cross the International Dateline on your way to Tongatapu, Tonga. The ship will then make port in Suva, Fiji before continuing across the South Pacific to call at Bay of Islands in New Zealand. Enjoy the surrounding landscape with an overnight stay in Auckland. Sail on to Rotorua, Napier, and Wellington. From there, make port in Christchurch and Dunedin before spending a few days admiring the Tasman Sea. Call at Melbourne, Australia. Next, call overnight at Sydney and take in the sights of the famous Harbor Bridge and Opera House. Continue on to Brisbane, Whitsunday, and Cairns. Then, enjoy the view as you sail along the Great Barrier Reef before making port at Thursday Island.

Your journey continues with one last call on the Australia coast with port in Darwin. From there, sail into Komodo and Bali in Indonesia. Cruise the Java Sea, then make port in Java, Indonesia. Continue on to call at Bandar Seri Begawan and Kota Kinabalu. Make port overnight in Manila of the Philippines, then the ship will carry you on to overnight in the historic city of Shanghai. Cruise over the South China Sea and call overnight in Hong Kong. From there, make port in Haikou, China followed by an overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Sail on to call at Sihanoukville, Cambodia. Make port overnight in Bangkok, then call at Koh Samui. Cruise the Gulf of Thailand before sailing in to call overnight in Singapore. Next, make port in Kuala Lumpur and George Town in Malaysia. From there, call at Phuket, Thailand before sailing across the Bay of Bengal to India.

Sail in to Chennai, India. Continue on to call at Cochin, then make port in Goa and Mumbai. Head on to the Middle East and call at Muscat, Oman. From there, spend a few days on board as the Viking Sun takes you across the Red Sea to make port in Aqaba, Jordan. Call at Luxor and Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt. Transit the Suez Canal, then call at Alexandria. Continue on sailing west toward the Mediterranean and make port in Valletta, Malta. From there, call at Tunis, Sardinia, and Algiers. Next, the ship will take you to port in Murcia and Granada Spain, followed by Porto, Portugal. Here you will have the chance to enjoy a few more days relaxing on board before sailing in for an overnight stay in London where you will disembark the ship for the end of your cruise.
