Come aboard Holland America's Amsterdam for a 2019 world cruise. This 113-night journey will take passengers roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale to visit many exciting destinations along the way. With opportunities to sail through the Pacific Islands, explore the Mediterranean, and tour Northern Europe, there are sure to be many things for guests to enjoy. Multiple overnight stays, and many full days in port allow travelers to fully explore the local culture and immerse themselves in the unique qualities of each destination.

Embark from Fort Lauderdale and spend a couple of days at sea getting acquainted with the ship. Call at Santa Marta, Columbia and San Blas Islands, Panama before cruising through the locks of the Panama Canal. Once on the other side, the ship will make port in Fuerte Amador, Panama for the first overnight stay. Continue on down the coast of South America to call at Salaverry (Trujillo), Peru. Next, make port in Callao (Lima), Peru for an overnight stay before continuing down the coast to Arica, Chile.

Here the ship will sail out from South America to make port at Easter Island, Chile. Continue on at sea for a few days, then enjoy the view as the Amsterdam sails by Pitcairn Island. From there, make port overnight in Papeete, Tahiti and enjoy the sites of the botanical gardens and beautiful beaches. Call next at Moorea, then spend a full day exploring Bora Bora and all it has to offer. Cross the International Dateline, then make port in Nuku'alofa, Tonga.

The journey then continues to the coast of New Zealand. Call at Auckland, then sail in to call at Tauranga (Rotorua). From there, make port for a full day in Wellington and explore New Zealand's capital city. Call at Picton , then continue on to make port overnight in Sydney, Australia and take a tour of the famous Opera House. Next, make port in Townsville and Cairns, then spend a few days at sea before calling at Darwin. The ship will then sail out away from Australia to Indonesia.

Call at Komodo Island, then spend a full day in Benoa, Bali. From there, sail on to Semarang and cross the Equator for an overnight stay in the unique and bustling city of Singapore. Continue on to make oprt in Colombo, Sir Lanka before calling at Cochin, India. Next, call overnight in Mumbai (Bombay) and admire the festive atmosphere and bright colors. From there, the Amsterdam will continue on to the Middle East with a call to Muscat, Oman.

After a short stretch of days at sea, sail in to Petra (Aqaba), Jordan for an overnight stay. Transit the Suez Canal, then continue through Mediterranean waters to make port in Naples (Pompeii), Italy. Upon reaching the coast of Spain, the ship will sail in to port at Barcelona. From there, call at Cadiz (Seville), Lisbon, and Oporto (Leixoes). Continue on to Northern Europe and make port in Cherbourg, France. From there, call at Zeebrugge (Brussels) in Belgium followed by Amsterdam, Holland. Make port in Copenhagen, Denmark, then sail away from the coast to cruise the Oslo Fjord before calling at Oslo, Norway for the day.

Continue the island tour with a call to Flam, Norway. From there, call at Portree (Isle of Skye), Scotland and Belfast, Ireland. Spend a full day exploring the bustling city of Dublin, then sail down to make port in the coastal town of Cork (Cobh). Here the ship will sail out across the Atlantic Ocean. After a few days at sea, the Amsterdam will call at Kings Wharf, Bermuda before continuing on to return to Fort Lauderdale where passengers will disembark for the end of the cruise.
