Join the Costa Luminosa for a 2019 World Cruise. Beginning in Barcelona and ending in Venice, this 106-night voyage will take you around the world to see many different cultures and natural wonders. With multiple overnight stays, and many full days in port, this cruise provides ample time to get acquainted with each port and explore as you wish.

Embark from Barcelona and cruise along to make port in Casablanca, Morocco. Tour the Great Mosque or get a panoramic view of the city from the cornice, then sail on to call at Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands. From there, the ship will set out across the Atlantic Ocean toward the coast of South America.

After enjoying a stretch of days at sea exploring the amenities on board, your journey will continue with a call to Recife, also known as the "Venice of Brazil." An overnight in Rio de Janeiro allows guests time to explore and take a samba lesson or wander around the Corcovado. Next, it's on to Buenos Aires and Montevideo as your tour around South America continues. Spend a full day in Puerto Madryn to witness the many bird species that make a home in the local sanctuary, then sail on to an overnight in Ushuaia and a quick call to Port Williams in Chile. Continue on through Chile with calls to Punta Arenas, Puerto Chacabuco, and Puerto Montt. Spend the night in Santiago (San Antonio) and wander the rapidly growing metropolis of Chile's capital city.

The journey continues across the Pacific with an overnight in Easter Island. Make a short call to Pitcairn Island, then sail on to Papeete and Rarotonga for a taste of island paradise. Next, it's on to New Zealand for beautiful beaches and excellent surfing opportunities. Call at Tauranga, then continue on to Auckland to be greeted by a warm welcome from the city's multi-ethnic population. After sailing away from Auckland, the ship will move on to Australia and call at Melbourne and Brisbane. Spend the day in Yorkeys Knob before moving on to Asia.

Here the ship will take you to Komodo Island where you might see a real Komodo dragon, then continue on to call at Lombok and Benoa (Bali). Spend two nights in Singapore to explore the many cultures and traditions that make their home in the city. Call next at Port Klang and Langkawi, then overnight in Phuket, Thailand. Colombo is up next, then enjoy an overnight in Cochin with its narrow streets and Spanish-influenced old quarter. Sail on to Mormugao, overnight in Bombay, then sail on to the Middle East.

Enjoy an overnight in the fast-paced, exotic city of Dubai. From there, call at Muscat overnight and catch a glimpse of the sultan's palace or spend time shopping in the souk. Salalah is next, then it's on to Petra (Aqaba). From there, spend a few days at sea before sailing in to Olympia (Katakolon) where travelers can tour the ancient site of the original Olympic games. At this point, the world cruise reaches end as the ship sails to Venice, Italy where passengers will disembark.
